Agra, Taj Mahal with Fatehpur Sikri Day Trip from Delhi

Agra Day tour with Fatehpur Sikri is scheduled at 6 am departure that would be 4 hours drive from new Delhi to Fatehpur Sikri at first.

This Ghost city was developed by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and turned into the capital of Mughal India for a long time before it was deserted because of the shortage of water. You will visit Jama Masjid, the 54-meter-high Victory Gate (Buland Darwaza), the white marble tomb of Shikh Salim Chrishti and many palaces and structures that resembles mix components of Hindu, Islamic and Persian engineering.

Later you will head to Agra to visit Agra Fort, where your Agra guide will meet you at the landmark to show you around.

Emperor Shah Jahan of Mughal dynasty, who built the Taj Mahal in memory of his better half, was detained in Agra Fort by his son Aurangzeb. From the post, he had the option to see the Taj Mahal – the sepulcher of his significant other, Mumtaz. The fortress is home to various wonderful mosques, for example, Nagina Masjid, Meena Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Khas Mahal. We will have a mid-day break before leaving the Fort.

Later you will go to visit the Taj Mahal at Sunset. This is the best time to see the Taj Mahl and where you will wonder about the marvelous Taj Mahal as the sun sets out of sight.

Take as much time as necessary to admire and capture the views of this glorious monument, an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most renowned and excellent structures on the planet. Later we will come back to Delhi.
