Kipling's Playground Tiger

Kanha national park is habitat for following wildlife mammals like tiger, bison, gaur, sambar, chital, barasingha, barking deer, black deer, black buck, chousingha, nilgai, mouse deer, sloth bear, jackal fox, porcupine, hyena, jungle cat, python, pea fowl, hare, monkey, mongoose, tiger and leopard. Bhandavgarh national park is famous for its flora n fauna with Bengal tiger reserve. Among the carnivore species jackal, Bengal fox, sloth bear, rattle, grey (small Indian) and ruddy mongoose, striped hyena, wolf, wild dog, jungle cat, leopard and tiger are prominent. Ungulates (animals which walk on tips of their toes) include chital, sambar, barking deer, chinkara, chousingha, nilgai and wild pig. Small Indian civet and toddy cat are also found here though seen rarely being nocturnal. Another nocturnal animal, the rufous-tailed hare is also seen usually during dusk.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi, you will be received at airport by our tour representative. Check in hotel and enjoy the rest time.

Day 2 : Delhi sightseeing tour
Post breakfast be ready for old and New Delhi sightseeing tour that includes heritage sites as Red fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s tomb, lotus Temple, parliament street. Post lunch visit SwamiNarayn Akshardham temple and enjoy light and music fountain show in the complex. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Delhi - Khajuraho
Depart for Khajuraho and upon arrival check in hotel and have rest. In late afternoon set for temple tour of Khajuraho temples which includes Kandaryia Mahadeo Chausath Yogini, Chitragupta temple, Vishwanath Temple and Matangeshwar Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 : Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh (260 km)
Post breakfast drive to Bandhavgarh National Park. On arrival check in the wildlife resort. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at wildlife resort. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is mainly known for its Royal Bengal Tigers. In the afternoon, post lunch, indulge in wildlife viewing during a jungle safari. Stay overnight at resort.

Day 5 : Bandhavgarh National Park
Morning and afternoon Jungle Safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at resort. Spread at vindhya hills in Madhya Pradesh, Bandhavgarh National Park consists of a core area of 105 sq km and a buffer area of approximately 400 sq km of topography varies between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Spot rare species of white tigers and capture them in your best photographic moments. Bandhavgarh National Park is an un-spoilt national habitat for a variety of wildlife peculiar to the area. These includes gaur (Indian bison), sloth bear, leopard, porcupine, wild boar, sambar and spotted deer other than tigers .

Day 6: Bandhavgarh - Kanha National Park (250 km)
Post breakfast drive to Kanha National Park. The journey by road will take approx 6 hrs to reach Kipling's country, oldest wildlife reserve of India. Situated within two main valleys, Halon in the east and Banjar in the west, and the grassy 'maidans', dotted with clumps of forest harbor large numbers of herbivores. Upon arrival at the national park check in the wildlife resort. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 7: Kanha National Park
Kanha national park is nestled in the Maikal range of satpuras in Madhay Pradesh. The landscapes and the surrounding luxurious meadows along with the wooded strands and the dense maroons of forests offer magnanimous sightseeing experiences for the nature lovers. Making the land more beautiful and adorable, the crystal clear streams amidst the dense jungle cleanses the surroundings and makes the wildlife unrivalled. Early morning, embark on a jungle safari to explore the wildlife at Kanha. Afterwards time is free for surrounding walk through. Later in the day, enjoy another safari. Overnight stay in the lodge.

Day 8: Kanha National Park
Start your morning with early jungle jeep safari in Kipling’s country and then visit Kanha museum post breakfast. Explore wildlife richness and history of rare species of animals. Sight the Crimson sunset from Bamni Dadar. Stay overnight at resort.

Day 9: Kanha National Park - Nagpur (280 km) - Delhi
Post breakfast at the resort, drive to Nagpur airport to board flight for Delhi. On arrival check in the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Delhi full day sightseeing tour
Post breakfast full day city sightseeing tour Old Delhi & New Delhi. As per your scheduled flight or train, you will be transferred to airport/railway station for onward journey.
