Dwarka – Somnath – Diu – Sasan Gir Tour Package

Day 1 : Arrival at Ahemdabad

This trip itinerary starts from Ahemdabad. Upon arrival, check in hotel and get freshen up. Visit famous sightseeing places of Ahemdabad city as Gandhi Ashram and famous jain temple. Enjoy the trip with gujarati flavor cuisines and shopping in textile markets. Enjoy the evening at leisure with visit to some other places in Ahemdabad.

Day 2 : Ahemdabad to Dwarka

Leave for Dwarka in early morning as it takes approx 7-8 hours to arrive Dwarka city by road. After arrival, have lunch and check in the hotel. Get freshen up and then go for sightseeing trip of Dwarka. Famous palces to visit in Dwarka are Nageshwar Jyotirlinga temple-which is one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The giant artistic statue of Lord Shiva attracts pilgrims with its sacred appeal. Next is Bet Dwarka which is a small island enclosed by a few temples, white sand beach and coral reefs. Rukmani Temple, Gopi talav, Dwarka Beach, Dwarka Lighthouse are some other attractions to must visit. In the evening time, Visit Dwrakadheesh temple which don’t require any introduction. The temple premises has one black magnificent idol of Lord Krishna and shrines of Subhadra, Balarama, Vasudeva, Rukmini and many others related to that epic. Witness the grandeur evening aarti at world famous temple dedicated to lord Vishnu. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Dwarka To Somnath via Porbandar

On 3rd day of tour, depart for Somnath, and take a halt at Porbandar. Here you will visit birthplace of Father of nation- Mahatama Gandhi. Also visit Sudama Temple-dedicated to childhood friend of Shree Krishna. Kirti Mandir which is a memorial temple built in memory of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi. It displays their pictures and preachings based on his life. Afterwards proceed to Somnath temple which is also one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple is located on the ancient Triveni Sangam or the confluence of three rivers - Kapila, Hiran, and Saraswati. It is highly revered religious site adorned with flowers and ornaments. Worship at the Temple and join the evening aarti. Enjoy the Light and sound show at the temple premises. After dinner stay overnight in hotel.

Day 4 : Somnath- Diu- Sasan Gir

On 4th happening day of tour, you will move from pilgrimage trip to Adventure. Diu is a beautiful island town which showcase Indian Portugal. With this extended Dwarka tour package, you will visit famous attractions of Diu as Diu Fort, Diu Museum and St. Thomas Church. Enjoy a relaxing day at Diu beaches. Afterwards Drive to Sasan Gir.

Day 5 : Sasangir

Enjoy the jeep safari at Gir national Park which is home to Asiatic lions. Later, visit Gir interpretation zone at Devalia. Enjoy the beautiful evening in dense forest and beautiful climate. Stay overnight in hotel.

Day 6 : Sasangir- Ahemdabad

Visit Gir National Park early morning again. Visit nearby lakes, wildlife and Sasan village tour. After an adventurous trip, depart for Ahemdabad. Here the tour concludes.

Day 7 : Indore-Mandu

This day is very special as you will visit one of the twelve jyotirlings of Shiva that is Omkareshwar enroute Indore to Mandu. Depart early morning and visit Omkarshwar temple and Maheshwar temples.

The town of Omkareshwar consists of two ancient shrines- one is Omkareshwar and the other is Amarkareshwar. The holy town is situated on the meeting point of two rivers- Narmada and Kaveri. With veneration you will also witness surreal views of area surrounded by mountains. Maheshwar is also renowned as temple town of central India hosting many temples with mythological and historical importance. It is also hub of Maheshwari sarees. Later proceed for Mandu.

Day 8 : Mandu

Post breakfast in the morning, leave for city tour of Mandu. You will visit the Jahaz Mahal, Hoshang Shah's Tomb, Baz Bahadur's Palace and Rani Roopmati's Pavilion, initially constructed as an army observation post. It also served as the Queen's retreat from where she could see the Baz Bahadur's palace. Overnight stay in the hotel in Mandu.

Day 9 : Mandu-Ujjain

Next morning depart for Ujjain, one of the holiest cities of India. It is an ancient city situated on the eastern bank of the Shipra river and famous for Kumbh mela. Visit second Jyotirlinga, the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlings on this tour. The famous jyotirling, religious value, architecture and educational value make this place popular among Indians as well as foreign tourists.

Day 10 : Ujjain- Ahmedabad

Visit some famous temples of Ujjain as bade Ganeshji ka Mandir, Harsidhhi temple, Vikram Kirti Mandir and then have breakfast. Afterwards depart for ahmedabad, capital of Gujarat. Upon arrival check in hotel and stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 11 : Ahmedabad

Next morning get ready for city sightseeing tour. Visit Swaminarayan Akshardham temple, Sabarmati Ashram, Calico museum, jama Masjid, Jhulta minar, Bhadra fort. After all sightseeing depart for Bhavanagar and stay overnight in hotel.

Day 12 : Ahmedabad-Bhavnagar

Located in the peninsular region of Gujarat, Bhavnagar is dotted with a number of lakes and Hindu shrines. The famous Hindu Shrines in the city are BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Takhteshwar temple, Khodiyar temple, Omkareshwar temple and many more. After exploring the city, we will return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 13 : Bhavnagar-Mumbai

Next morning visit Palitana which is centre of attraction for renowned Jain temples and wonderful architecture. Afterwards return back to Bhavnagar and depart for Mumbai.

Day 14 : Mumbai

Mumbai hosts many sightseeing places but one day tour of Mumbai will give you chance to explore best locations as the Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Garden, Dhobhighat, and Elephanta Caves, a World Heritage Site.

Day 15 : Departure from Mumbai

On last day of tour depart for home destination with memorable collection of tour.
