Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Amritsar
Upon your arrival at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, Amritsar, our representative will meet and greet you and drive you to your hotel. After hotel check-in, relax for a while and take some time off to unwind. In the evening, visit the Golden Temple, the world-renowned spiritual haven of Sikhs, and absorb the serene atmosphere. Do not miss visiting the Guru Ka Langar, a community kitchen in which free food is served to thousands of travelers daily. One may also explore the Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial of the massacre that took place in 1919. Overnight in Amritsar.
Day 2 : Amritsar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to the Wagah Border, 28 kilometers from Amritsar. Witness the guard change ceremony, a fascinating game of nationalisms between Pakistan and India. Make use of the afternoon in returning to Amritsar and spending some free shopping or bazaar-hopping at markets like Hall Bazaar. In the evening, have a traditional Punjabi dinner and then get back to your hotel. Overnight stay at Amritsar.
Day 3 : Dalhousie to Amritsar – Tour to the Hills
After breakfast, proceed to Dalhousie, a charming hill station covered with the hills of Himachal Pradesh. Check into your hotel and rest the entire day amidst dense green forests and hills. You can stroll along the peaceful Mall Road or visit scenic Panchpula Waterfall. You could even visit St. John's Church, an old church of Dalhousie. Overnight at Dalhousie.
Day 4 : Dalhousie Sightseeing
Breakfast and then there is a sightseeing tour within and around Dalhousie. There is sightseeing at Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, in which there are different plant as well as animal species, i.e., Himalayan black bear, leopards, and deer. There are beautiful mountain as well as valley scenery here. Afternoon drive to Khajjiar, the nickname of "Mini Switzerland of India," and a spot very famous for having green meadows, green forests, and peaceful lakes. Relax the evening away in the arms of nature amidst this stunning scenery of land. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
Day 5 : Dalhousie to Manali
Breakfast in morning. After check out from hotel, go to Manali, a favorite hill station in the Himalayas. Enjoy the serene country side, through scenic mountains and valley over countryside village, valleys and rivers. Free time available here also in afternoon to drive a bit if more view and relaxation wanted to enjoy nature of hilly state's life like leisure. Stay overnight in night at Manali.
Day 6 : Manali Sightseeing
Breakfast, rest of the day for sightseeing. Begin the day by visiting Solang Valley, where you can have a go at adventure sports like paragliding, zorbing, and skiing (weather permitting). Subject to weather, visit Rohtang Pass to indulge in snow sports like snowboarding, skiing, and snowball fights. Take in the beautiful sight of snow-white mountains, and have your best opportunity at some good photos. Return to Manali in the evening for rest. Overnight at Manali.
Day 7 : Manali – Vashisht Temple and Hot Springs
Breakfast and then visit the Vashisht Temple, a temple for the sage Vashisht, and unwind in the healing hot springs nearby.
Scenic views of the mountains encircle the temple. You can spend a while in the natural hot springs. Subsequently, visit the Hadimba Temple, a diminutive wooden temple ringed with forested cedar groves. Nature walk to Old Manali is also possible, or you may move on to the traditional cafes nearby. Overnight at Manali.
Day 8 : Chandigarh to Manali
Breakfast at the hotel and then check-out.
Travel by road through villages to Chandigarh, the country's first planned city. On arrival in Chandigarh, check into hotel and rest for a while. Evening, go for a relaxing boat ride on trendy Sukhna Lake or stroll into the Rock Garden, a sculpture garden constructed from purely factory and household refuse. Fine dinner at Sector 17 restaurant. Over night stay in Chandigarh.
Day 9 : Chandigarh Garden and Architectural Tour Breakfast and full-day Chandigarh city tour.
Begin your tour with the visit to world-renowned Rose Garden, a large lawn-based garden containing roses, fountains, and other flowers. You can explore Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, which is Asia's largest rose garden. You can explore Chandigarh Horticulture Garden, and witness architectural beauty of Chandigarh's Sector 17 market. Then head to Punjab University Campus to see its contemporary architecture by Pierre Jeanneret and Le Corbusier. Night stay in Chandigarh.
Day 10 : Back from Chandigarh
After breakfast, as per your train or flight schedule, you will be dropped at Chandigarh Railway Station or Chandigarh International Airport for onward journey, ending your wonderful tour of Amritsar-Dalhousie-Manali-Chandigarh.
