Itinerary
Day 1 : Delhi to Mussoorie.
Begin with road travel through scenic roads from Delhi to Mussoorie, the 'Queen of Hills.' Get the experience of hills of Uttarakhand during road travel. After arrival, rest for a day after overnight stay at a hotel.
Spend your free time by walking around the Mall, night step by step, with colonial buildings, cafes, and handicraft stalls. Go to Gun Hill, the second highest point in Mussoorie, and take in some great views of the Himalayas. Watch a sunset at Cloud's End, a serene and quiet spot with dense forests all around. You can also organize an outing to Company Garden, a beautiful garden with multi-hued flowers, fountains, and an artificial lake where you can enjoy boating.
Day 2 : Mussoorie to Rishikesh
Start the day with a visit to the very famous Kempty Falls waterfall in Mussoorie. Have a bath or simply sit and get yourself immersed in the flowing waters. Later, drive to Rishikesh, also famously called the 'Yoga Capital of the World.'
Arrive at Rishikesh and visit the famous Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula, famous suspension bridges on the Ganges River. Irritating blessings at Parmarth Niketan Ashram, where the ashram is famous for the spiritual environment surrounding it. Day 3 : Haridwar to Rishikesh to Dehradun
Breakfast and drive to Haridwar, India's holiest city. Gather at Har Ki Pauri, the holy ghat where devotees take bath in the Ganges for purification. Proceed to Mansa Devi Temple, a vantage point with city and river view below in panorama. You could even see Chandi Devi Temple, situated on the bank of Neel Parvat, and enjoy cable car ride with panorama to go there.
Drive to Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand. Visit the Robber's Cave, a network of caves that house a stream passing through it. Drive to Mindrolling Monastery, the second largest in India and one of the most renowned because of its lovely structures and peaceful surroundings. Tapkeshwar Temple, a very old Shiva temple within a cave, is not to be missed. Spend the evening at leisure, walking through Paltan Bazaar, an excellent shopping place for souvenirs and local handicrafts. Relish some of the local dishes at well-known restaurants before returning to your hotel.
Day 4 : Dehradun to Delhi
On the final day of your tour, visit Sahastradhara, a beautiful natural spring renowned for its medicinal properties. The house is surrounded by hills and is a serene haven amidst city mayhem. This is followed by a visit to the Forest Research Institute, an architectural marvel comprised of colonial structures and horticulture exhibition. Depending on the time available, a visit to the Malsi Deer Park, comprising some of the deer family members and other animals roaming around on the campus, is a nature lover's wonderland.
