Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrivals in Jaipur – Introduction and Orientation
Welcome. Upon arrival at Jaipur Railway Station or Jaipur Airport, students are greeted warmly by our tour coordinator and taken to the lodging place.
After checking in and lunch, there will be an orientation session with safety briefing and introduction to the Rajasthan Educational Tour.
Evening excursion to Albert Hall Museum – a perfect location to introduce students to the art, armor, coins, pottery, and textile of Rajasthan.
Night halt at Jaipur.
Day 2 : Jaipur – History, Architecture & Astronomy
Breakfast is followed by a guided heritage walk in the morning around the City Palace, museums, and royal collections. Spend a while at the Jantar Mantar, a world heritage site and home of ancient astronomical instruments – perfect for science and astronomy students.
After sometime in the afternoon, go to the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace) and its 953 windows through which royal family women could look on during festivals held on streets.
After lunch, visit to Amber Fort, and through it, Rajput war architecture, Mughal influence, and Maota Lake water harvesting system can be studied by the students.

Day 3 : Jaipur – Ajmer – Pushkar (Approx. 150 km / 3.5 hrs)
Early morning departure to Ajmer, one of the syncretic cities where religious toleration is its tradition.
Walk to Ajmer Sharif Dargah, one of the finest places which promote interfaith harmony. Study Sufism and Mughal patronage in India.
### Visit Pushkar, a small rural Indian town. View the Brahma Temple, a unique temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, and the Pushkar Lake, a lake of a series of mythological stories attached to it.
Indian priests will be invited to local temples and students will visit local temples along with interacting with Indian priests to give a view of Indian religious tradition.

Day 4 : Pushkar – Jodhpur (Approx. 220 km / 5 hrs)
Breakfast and then proceed to Jodhpur, the Blue City of Rajasthan.
Visit India's largest fort, Mehrangarh Fort. By a guided tour, students are exposed to the Rathores' warfare style, architecture, and life of royalty.
Visit Jaswant Thada, a marble mausoleum with exquisite carvings, and walk down Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower) and Sardar Market, where the students get to see local commerce and handicraft fashions.
Afternoon: Elephant ride at Sunset Point.
Evening: Presentation by local cultural group on Rajasthani traditional art forms and music tradition.
Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
Day 5 : Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (Approx. 280 km / 6 hrs)
Travel to Golden City, Jaisalmer, in the midst of the Thar Desert. Students are greeted to desert ecology and sustainable practices on reaching.
Recreational evening with orientation to the desert ecosystem and cultural difference of Jaisalmer.

Day 6 : Jaisalmer – Fort, Havelis & Cultural Immersion
Start the day with a tour of the powerful Jaisalmer Fort, a human-inhabited living fort. Witness the planning, drainage, and design.
Visit Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli, to see frescoes, latticework, and Rajasthani traditional interior decoration.
Post-lunch: Desert village tour to see rural life, crafts, water harvesting, and camel-based economies.
Evening: Camel safari followed by which an evening campfire session with local music and desert stargazing.
Night overnight desert camp at Jaisalmer.
Day 7 : Jaisalmer – Bikaner (Approx. 330 km / 6 hrs)
Leave early morning after breakfast for Bikaner, medieval caravan trade center.
Tour the Junagarh Fort, renowned for its synthesis of Mughal and Gujarati architecture. See its temples and palaces to get an idea of how Bikaner became a cultural melting pot.
Travel to the Karni Mata Temple, or the Rat Temple, after lunch. Although a strange activity to engage in, it will be grounds for questioning belief, local custom, and tolerance.

Day 8 : Bikaner – Udaipur (Approx. 430 km / 7-8 hrs)
Udaipur, the City of Lakes, begin early morning.
Arrive and check-in at your hotel. Relaxation in the evening. Evening visit to Lake Pichola and boat ride to experience scenic beauty of the palaces, temples, and ghats.
Brief debrief on city water planning and conservation around city-created lakes.

Day 9 : Udaipur – Royal Palaces & Cultural Understandin
Breakfast, then City Palace Complex, India's most elegant palace building. Visit the museum of decorative arts, royal apparel and armor.
In the afternoon, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari (Maidens' Garden) and Shilpgram, a village craft complex of village arts. The students will be able to talk with artisans and watch live demonstrations of weaving, pottery, and miniatures painting.
Evening: Watch a puppet show and folk dance show at a cultural centre.
Overnight stay at Udaipur.
Day 10 : Departure from Udaipur
After breakfast, hotel check-out. Depending on the departure time, you can either visit Fateh Sagar Lake or relax on some local souvenir shopping. Transfer to Udaipur Airport or Railway Station with memories to last a lifetime, new relationships, and enhanced learning experience.
