As per the historical significance, the entire stretch reflects the mythical colours of the Mahabharata where the Pandavas went to the Himalaya to meet Lord Shiva. In the struggle, parts of Lord Shiva’s body in the form of a bull surfaced at various places in the Himalaya. The forelegs that showed up at Pashupatinath in Nepal, the hump of the bull at Kedarnath, the torso including the navel at Madhyamaheshwar, the arms at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, and the matted hair at Kalpeshwar, thus forming the Panch Kedar in India (excluding Pashupatinath being in Nepal).
The trek begins from Joshimath and then continues to all five shrines through various enroute places.

Best Time to Visit Panch Kedar
The best time to visit Panch Kedar Yatra is between May and October. Like Char Dham shrines, all the temples of Panch Kedar get opened only for 6 months.

Arrive Rishikesh form Delhi via Haridwar. DO some sightseeing and overnight stay at hotel.

Post breakfast, drive to Pipalkoti via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Early Morning, drive to Helang and from here begin trekking to Urgam Village where you will cross Alaknanda River via Road Bridge. The trek will be exciting as it will pass through the dense forests to reach Urgam Valley. Explore the scenic views of valley, awesome dinner and overnight stay in tents/camps.

Early morning, trek up to the first Kedar- Kalpeshwar. The Kalpeshwar Mahadev Temple is the only temple that remains open throughout the year. The matted hairs or jata of Lord Shiva are worshipped here, offer your prayers at Temple Later, return trek to Urgam. See Kalpvriksha tree, Kalpganga river and Budha Kedar. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Post breakfast, trek towards the Kalgot Village where you will arrive at in the evening. It is a 12 km stretch that passes through dense forest & string of waterfalls. Witness the culture of local people & famous fields of apple and potato sowing. Dinner and overnight stay in tents/homestays.

By early morning, trek to Panar Bugyal from Kalgot which will take you from dense forest on high mountains. Enjoy the enchanting meadows and stay overnight in camps watching vibrant night in open valley.

By early morning, trek from Panar to Rudranath which is at 2286 mt above the sea level. From here, you will have the panoramic view of high peaks of Himalayas as Nada Devi Peak, Nanda Ghunti, Trishul and many others. The both side trek is 16 kms. Trek Back to Panar and stay overnight.

After the breakfast, trek to Sagar Village, full of high-altitude grasslands. Afterwards, drive to Chopta which is 32 Km drive. Post arrival at Chopta, be relax in alluring surroundings of Switzerland of Garhwal regions. Stay and give all your exhaustion a little break.

Trek to the highest shrine of Lord Shiva in the entire world, situated at the height of 3680 mts. The trek is easy and of about 3.5 Km and passes through thick Himalayan forests, snow-capped mountain ranges. Have divine darshan at Temple and then trek back to Chopta and then drive to jagasu followed by a trek to Gaundhar.

Post breakfast, trek to fourth Kedar of Madhyamaheshwar. Have darshan at pitch your camp ofr stay overnight. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

In the morning, trek back to Gaundhar. Dinner and overnight stay in tent

Today, trek about 12 km to reach Jagasu and from there drive to Guptkashi (30 kms). Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Post breakfast, drive to Gaurikund. Upon arrival here, begin trekking to Kedarnath, which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva & one shrines of Chardham shrines of Uttarakhand. On arrival, check in at guest house. Evening time is free for leisure or sightseeing in surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay in guest house/hotel.

In the morning, visit Kedarnath temple once again and then trek down to Gaurikund and drive to Rudraprayag along the river Mandakini. On arriving at Rudraprayag, check i then hotel. In the evening, visit the confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini River. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Post breakfast, drive back to Haridwar. Here the Tour concludes with beautiful memories.
