Itinerary
Day 1 : Day of Arrival at Delhi – Welcome to India
On your arrival at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport, our representative from Travel to India will greet and drive you to your hotel. Rest and acclimatize for the day according to local time. Evening, go for a leisure walk around Connaught Place, or for shopping enthusiasts, to Dilli Haat to buy exclusive souvenirs and local handicrafts. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing – The Capital of India
Breakfast, and begin your discovery of Delhi, which so beautifully blends history, modernity, and spirituality. Visit the imposing Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and view its imposing buildings. View Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, and then visit India Gate, the war memorial of Indian soldiers. Visit the serene Humayun's Tomb, and then the lovely Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques. Finish the day with a rickshaw ride down the colorful streets of Chandni Chowk. Overnight at Delhi.
Day 3 : Delhi to Agra – The Taj Mahal
Breakfast, followed by drive to Agra, a city famous for the fabled Taj Mahal. On arrival, check into your hotel, and after some rest, visit the Taj Mahal, one of the Wonders of the world. See the stunning white marble mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan as a tribute to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. In the evening, see the Agra Fort, a World Heritage Site, with a stunning view of the Taj Mahal from its turrets. Or you can visit Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, which is fondly called the "Baby Taj." Shop for marble statues and carpets at the local bazaars. Overnight at Agra.
Day 4 : Jaipur – Agra to Jaipur – en route to Fatehpur Sikri
Breakfast, and drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, popularly known as the "Pink City." En route, visit the Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage site and the former Mughal capital. Drive through to visit the grand Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and the Tomb of Salim Chishti. Travel on to Jaipur and rest in the hotel for a while. Breakfast and then shopping at Johari Bazaar or a stroll around the local bazaars purchasing local Rajasthani handicrafts. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 5 : Jaipur sightseeing – Royal Heritage
Breakfast and then begin the day by visiting Amber Fort, a hilltop fort renowned for its beautiful architecture and views. Either jeep or elephant ride to the gate. Within the fort, walk through the picturesque courtyards, palaces, and gardens. Then proceed to the City Palace, an exquisite mix of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Visit the Jantar Mantar, an astronomy observatory where calculations were made, and the renowned Hawa Mahal, or Palace of Winds. In the evening, enjoy local Rajasthani cuisine or stroll through local bazaars to browse local jewelry and clothing. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 6 : Jaipur to Goa – A Tropical Retreat
Fly from Jaipur to Goa in the morning, India's leading beach resort town, famous for its dazzling coast line, vibrant night life, and historic Portuguese architecture. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and soak up the sun and sand of the beach. In the evening, you can roam around the happening Baga Beach or Anjuna Beach, both of which are extremely popular for their relaxed atmosphere, water sports, and beach shacks. Overnight stay at Goa.
Day 7 : Sightseeing in Goa – Beaches and Portuguese Colonial Heritage
Start the day with a leisurely breakfast, followed by a visit to the lovely beaches of Goa. Drive to the serene Calangute Beach, Baga Beach, and Vagator Beach, all three offering their own beautiful vistas, clear waters, and laid-back atmosphere. In the evening, experience the sunset view of Arabian Sea from Fort Aguada. Visit the Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus where the relics of St. Francis Xavier are kept. Take a stroll through the Portuguese colonial architecture at Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage monument. Overnight in Goa.
Day 8 : Goa – Leisure Day
Morning after breakfast relax throughout the day in Goa. You can sunbathe on the beach, participate in water sports like parasailing, jet skiing or a boat cruise on the Mandovi River. Or otherwise, if shopping is part of your plans, go to the Anjuna Flea Market to purchase souvenirs, jewelry and handicrafts. At night, you can also enjoy the night life of Goa, with night parties at the beach, music and local food. Overnight stay at Goa.
Day 9 : Mumbai – Goa to Mumbai – The City of Dreams
Breakfast and morning flight from Goa to Mumbai, India's entertainment and commercial capital. Arrive in Mumbai, get checked into hotel and relax. Afternoon, embark on a sightseeing tour, beginning with the Gateway of India and Marine Drive, popularly referred to as the Queen's Necklace. Travel to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and spend time shopping on the Colaba Causeway. Stroll on a beach at sunset on Juhu Beach or Chowpatty Beach. Overnight stay in Mumbai.
Day 10 : Mumbai Sightseeing – Heart of Bollywood
Breakfast, then travel to the Elephanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on an island off Mumbai. The caves feature rock-cut Hindu temple and goddesses and one takes a ferry to get there. Back to Mumbai in the afternoon and visit Dhobi Ghat (the largest open laundry in the world) and the Chor Bazaar (thieves' market). Perhaps you visit the Film City in an attempt to do a behind-the-scenes tour of Bollywood, India's movie capital. In the evening, you can attend a cultural show or dine at one of Mumbai's celebrity restaurants. Overnight at Mumbai.
Day 11 : Mumbai – Free Day
Rest in Mumbai today. Visit the Haji Ali Dargah, a stunning mosque located on an island, or Bandra-Worli Sea Link to see the city from up high. For shopaholics, the Crawford Market and Linking Road are the best options. Otherwise, simply remain in your hotel or pamper yourself with one of the luxury spas of Mumbai. Have a traditional Indian night dinner in the evening watching a dance show, Bollywood-style. Overnight in Mumbai.
Day 12 : Leaving Mumbai
After breakfast, according to your flight schedules, you shall be dropped at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport to end your best private golden triangle tour..
