Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi – Welcome to India
Upon your arrival at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi, you will be met by our representative and driven to your hotel. Upon check-in and refreshment, relax in the evening. You can opt to walk around Connaught Place, a bustling shopping and eating street or try the local cuisine. Relax and stay overnight at your hotel in Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing – A Walk Through History
After breakfast, go on your Delhi sightseeing tour, a city of the past and present. Visit Red Fort, the symbol of Mughal rule, and marvel at its grandeur. Next, proceed to Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit India Gate, a war memorial for Indian soldiers, and proceed to Humayun's Tomb, an architectural forerunner to the Taj Mahal. Ride a rickshaw in Chandni Chowk, the most crowded of the city's markets, at night. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 3 : Agra – Delhi
Breakfast, and leave for Agra, the city of love. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and prepare to see the fabled Taj Mahal. This white marble mausoleum, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal, is a testament to everlasting love and one of the Seven Wonders of the world. In the afternoon, make a visit to Agra Fort, a UNESCO-identified World Heritage site, that offers amazing views of the Taj Mahal. If it's possible, make a visit to Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, also known as the "Baby Taj." Spend the evening strolling through Agra's local bazaars. Overnight in Agra.
Day 4 : Agra to Jaipur – The Pink City Awaits
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a deserted Mughal city, which was a capital city. Visit its lovely monuments such as Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Tomb of Salim Chishti. Reach Jaipur and check-in into your hotel. Rest. In the evening, visit bazaars or have a traditional Rajasthani restaurant. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 5 : Jaipur Sightseeing – Explore the Royal City
Start the day at Amber Fort, an elegant palace-fortress built on the crest of a hill. Take an elephant or jeep ride to the gate of the fort or use a horse carriage ride as a short cut. Explore the lovely palaces, stunning courtyards, and beautiful frescoes. Later, visit City Palace, the palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur, and Jantar Mantar, a collection of an astronomical observatory with old instruments for telling time and predicting heavenly movement. Don't miss visiting Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the icon of Jaipur's skyline. Buy handicrafts and clothes at local bazaars in the evening. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 6 : Jaipur to Jodhpur – Welcome to the Blue City
Post-breakfast, take an early morning drive to Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan, lovingly known as the "Blue City" due to its scenic blue-painted houses. Arrive and check into your hotel and relax. During the latter part of the evening, visit local street markets or Clock Tower and Sardar Market and go shopping for spices, clothes, and handicrafts. Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 7 : Jodhpur Sightseeing – The Great Mehrangarh Fort
Turn one day into Jodhpur's greatest sites, starting at the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort that presides over the city. One of India's largest and most intimidating forts is this gargantuan complex. Inside, elaborately decorated palaces, courtyards, and museums unfold Rajasthan's rich royal history. Do not miss Jaswant Thada, a white marble cenotaph built in remembrance of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, near the fort with a serene view of the city. In the evening, stop by Umaid Bhawan Palace, an unusual blend of art deco and Rajput architecture, which serves as the residence of the royal Jodhpur family to date. Evening at leisure and optional visit to a Rajasthani cultural show or at leisure at the rooftop restaurant with views of the fort. Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 8 : Jodhpur to Delhi – A Royal Return
Back to Delhi by morning flight after breakfast. Check in your hotel and rest upon arrival. Free time at leisure in the afternoon, you may visit those places you could not do so earlier or otherwise proceed to shopping places like Dilli Haat or Hauz Khas Village. Or otherwise, have a leisure evening at one of the luxury restaurants or coffee houses in Delhi. Overnight stay at Delhi.
Day 9 : Delhi – Leisure Day
You have the day to yourself to do whatever you like.
You can visit the city's favorite hangouts in Delhi, have a yoga session, or get a spa treatment. If you'd like some more sightseeing, visit Lodhi Gardens, a peaceful setting to relax, or the National Museum to discover India's history. Evening: Enjoy a cultural show or eat at one of Delhi's best restaurants. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 10 : Delhi departure
After breakfast, you will be escorted to Delhi International Airport to board your return flight. With memories of India's kingly past, rich heritage, and stunning buildings, as you leave.
