Day 1 : Arrival in Delhi – Welcome to India
Upon your arrival at the Delhi International Airport, our representative will greet you and drive you to your hotel. After checking into your hotel room and freshening up, you may stroll around Connaught Place or take it easy in the comforts of your hotel room. Have an easy evening in India, if you prefer, by enjoying a taste of Indian food at one of Delhi's famous restaurants. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing – Traditions and Modernism
Following a healthy breakfast, start your day on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Begin the day at Red Fort, India's iconic representation of its Mughal era. Next, head to Qutub Minar, the other UNESCO World Heritage site and iconic minaret tower. Also visit India Gate, the war memorial, and Humayun's Tomb, the forerunner of Taj Mahal style. Afternoon visit to peaceful Lotus Temple and the large Jama Masjid, one of India's largest mosques. Evening spent in Chandni Chowk with a rickshaw ride down its congested streets. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3 : Delhi to Agra – The Taj Mahal Awaits
Breakfast and then leave for Agra, the city of love. Upon your arrival, check into your hotel and go to the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This white marble mausoleum constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal will leave you speechless with its magnificence. Next, go to Agra Fort, another world heritage site, with its strong Mughal architecture and beautiful views of the Yamuna River. Day 4 : Agra to Jaipur – Heading to the Pink City
Following breakfast, proceed to Jaipur, the city capital of Rajasthan. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted Mughal city. Visit its magnificent architecture, such as the Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, and the tomb of Salim Chishti. Resume your drive to Jaipur and check into your hotel. Day 5 : Jaipur Sightseeing – The Land of Royalty
After a hearty breakfast, explore Jaipur’s magnificent attractions. Start with the Amber Fort, where you’ll be transported to the top of the fort on an elephant, just as the royal families did in the past. Visit the City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture, and admire its courtyards and museums. See the Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory with interesting instruments. Don't miss the sight of the Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), the lovely pink sandstone palace and one of Jaipur's most iconic landmarks. Day 6 : Jaipur to Varanasi – The Spiritual Capital
Early in the morning after having breakfast, fly to Varanasi, the holy city of India. Famous for its ancient temples, religious importance, and Ghats on the banks of the Ganges River, Varanasi is a spiritual outing. Arrive and check into your hotel, and relax. In the evening, proceed to the Varanasi Ghats to watch the Ganga Aarti, a magical ceremony performed along the river. Day 7 : Varanasi – Experience the Holy City
Start the day early with a boat trip along the Ganges River, a great way to observe life and death in the sacred center of India.
As you sail smoothly on the tranquil water, you'll pass through the ghats where pilgrims carry out their rituals. Visit the renowned Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples of Lord Shiva, and the New Vishwanath Temple. Day 8 : Varanasi to Delhi – The Capital Awaits
After breakfast, you will depart from Delhi for Delhi by air. On reaching, check in at your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure. Day 9 : Delhi – Leisure Day
