Day 1 : Ranikhet – Arrival – The Queen's Meadow

Your Heritage tour to Ranikhet and Almora starts as soon as you reach Ranikhet, a tranquil hill station that is famous for its dense pine forests, colonial-era bungalows, and peaceful surroundings. You are welcomed by our representative who takes you to your heritage hotel or mountain resort.

Following a refreshing up, go to the Jhula Devi Temple, an old temple of Goddess Durga and famous for the bells of thousands, which are hung here by the devotees. On the other side of the Chaubatia Orchards, where you have the opportunity to walk through orchids that have apples, peaches, and apricots hanging from them with a bird's eye view of Himalaya's snow peaks.

Late afternoon, stroll along the Mall Road with the mountain air and colonial ambiance of Ranikhet.

Day 2 : Ranikhet Excursion – A Colonial Retreat

Begin the day with a morning excursion to Majhkhali, with beautiful vistas of Mount Trishul and Nanda Devi. Proceed to the Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum, the treasure house of the gallant history of the Indian Army and the Kumaon Regiment.

Picnic to Bhalu Dam, a artificial lake ringed by mature woods, suited for rest and photography. Afternoon visit to the Upat Golf Course, one of Asia's highest golf courses, lying in pine groves.

Rest overnight, either at your hotel or at local market places on purchase of woolen goods and local handicrafts.

Day 3 : Almora from Ranikhet – Pilgrimage to Kumaon's Cultural Capital

Breakfast, and then a beautiful 2-hour journey to Almora, a historic town steeped in cultural heritage, stunning scenery, and ancient temples.

Check into the hotel on arrival and go for a visit to the popular Bright End Corner that is known to provide a panoramic view of the Himalayan sunset. Visit Kasar Devi Temple, a divine location which used to be visited by Swami Vivekananda and numerous other mystics.

Walking tour of Lala Bazaar, a 200-year-old bazaar with wooden shops selling local handicrafts, woolens, and brassware.

Day 4 : Almora to Binsar – A Nature and Wildlife Sanctuary

The day begins with a sumptuous breakfast followed by a trip to Binsar, the scenic hill resort and home of the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary forest is renowned for its very high degree of biodiversity with habitat of leopards, barking deer, and over 200 species of birds.

On arrival, visit Zero Point, the highest point of Binsar with 360-degree views of Himalayan peaks of Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, and Panchachuli. The trek to Zero Point through dense oak and rhododendron forests is an experience in itself.

Day 5 : Binsar to Kausani – India's Switzerland

Morning drive after breakfast for 2 hours to Kausani, a hill resort renowned for its breathtaking view of sunrise and sunset in the Himalayan peaks.

Tour the Anasakti Ashram where Mahatma Gandhi took rest and wrote his book Anasakti Yoga. Tour the Baijnath Temple Complex, very old complex of Shiva temples belonging to the 12th century, charmingly situated near the Gomti River.

Late afternoon, panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks, a heart-rending experience for which Kausani has been hailed as the "Switzerland of India."

Day 6 : Return trip from Kausani to Kathgodam/Delhi

Breakfast on, return trip to Kathgodam or Delhi, relishing the serene landscape and cultural interactions of Ranikhet, Almora, and Binsar. On arrival, you would be dropped at your desired place for your onward journey.
