Day 1 : Chandigarh – Haridwar – Barkot (210 km drive / approx. 8-9 hrs)

Your spiritual quest starts early morning from Chandigarh in an air-conditioned car rented by Travel to India. During our journey, we take a reverent stoppage at Haridwar, gateway to God's own land, where you are able to have the soul-touching Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (subject to time availability).

Proceed on hike to scenic hills to Barkot, a tranquil town on banks of Yamuna River. At Barkot, night halt in clean hotel or Swiss tented facility. Relaxation and evening is free. Taste a lovely veg dinner and night halt at Barkot.

Day 2 : Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (42 km drive + 6 km trek one way each)

After an early breakfast, head for Jankichatti, which will be the center for trekking to Yamunotri. Go for a 6 km guided trek to reach the sacred Yamunotri Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Take a dip in the hot waters of Surya Kund and pray at the temple. The tour is filled with nature's beauty, green forests, and white mountains.

Post-darshan and puja, trek back to Jankichatti and proceed by car to Barkot. Free evening time with dinner and night halt.

Day 3 : Barkot – Uttarkashi – Gangotri (220 km / approx. 8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to the holy town of Gangotri through Uttarkashi, the religious hub of Garhwal. Stop at the renowned Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi before continuing the picturesque hill drive along the banks of the Bhagirathi River.

Arrive at Gangotri by evening and check into your pre-booked hotel. At 3,100 meters above sea level, Gangotri is the site where the sacred River Ganga was born. Unwind in the peaceful Himalayan environment and get ready for the sacred darshan tomorrow.

Day 4 : Gangotri – Guptkashi (260 km / approx. 10 hrs)

Early in the morning, go to the sacred Gangotri Temple, constructed by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century. Take a sacred bath in the river Bhagirathi and watch morning rituals. After breakfast, start your journey to Guptkashi, a scenic town at the mouth of the Mandakini river valley.

On arrival at Guptkashi, rest at a Travel to India booked luxury hotel or resort. The town is home to the ancient Vishwanath Temple and serves as a key base camp for Kedarnath pilgrims.

Day 5 : Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Guptkashi (20 km drive + 18 km trek or helicopter)

Rise early for one of the most highly anticipated portions of the journey—Kedarnath, which is Lord Shiva's shrine. You trek the 18 km route on foot from Gaurikund or avail the pre-booked helicopter service for a quick and comfortable ride (on request, at an extra cost).

Proceed to Kedarnath Temple, at an elevation of 3,583 meters, after darshan and puja. Return to Guptkashi by the evening. Savor a hot dinner and go to bed for the night after this spiritually enriching experience.

Day 6 : Guptkashi – Badrinath – Rudraprayag (215 km / approx. 8 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed towards the last dham—Badrinath, which is nestled between Nar and Narayan peaks. On arrival, take a sacred bath in Tapt Kund, the natural hot water spring, before entering the sacred Badrinath Temple, one of the most sacred Vishnu temples in India.

Later, pay a visit to the temple and proceed to Rudraprayag for overnight stay. Rudraprayag is situated at the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers and provides spiritual calm and natural tranquility.

Day 7 : Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Chandigarh (370 km / approx. 9-10 hrs)

Today is the culmination of your spiritual journey. Breakfast in the morning, then back drive to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. Visit major places like Ram Jhula, Parmarth Niketan, and Triveni Ghat, and witness the serenity of the peaceful Ganga Aarti.

Drive back to Chandigarh from Rishikesh concluding your single Char Dham Yatra with Travel to India. The memories of sacred temples, snowclad mountains, gurgling rivers, and spiritual vibrations shall remain eternal.
