Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi

The journey starts by arriving in the city of Delhi that is a perfect mix of history and contemporary life. Once in your hotel, begin exploring by visiting India gate which is a war memorial that is surrounded by a well-kept lawn and fountain. Pass by Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament house in order to marvel at the magnificence of colonial buildings. Next, proceed to Qutub Minar, the world's tallest brick minaret and a UNESCO World Heritage site where you are likely to be amazed by the intricate carvings and the ruins surrounding it, and reminisce of the history of Delhi. Have lunch and then visit Humayun Tomb, the beautiful Mughal garden tomb which inspired the Taj Mahal and take a walk around the beautiful landscaped gardens. Then, later in the day, visit Lotus Temple with its tranquil and meditative environment, open to all religions. Assuming time, you can place at the end of the day Red Fort or Raj Ghat to complete the day before a leisure time at Connaught place which is the centre of Delhi and go shopping or have a nice North Indian dinner. Day 2 : Visit and explore Agra

Wake up and then set on a road trip for Agra which takes 2-3 hours from Delhi. Upon arrival check into your hotel and go directly to the Taj Mahal, the clear jewel in the crown of India and one of the seven wonders of the world. The morning is the best time to watch the monument with the warm golden light which adds to the white marble beauty of the monument. Then move  to Agra Fort which is a red sandstone fort that used to be the royal palace of the Mughal emperors. Explore its palaces and courts and see the Taj Mahal through the balconies of the fort. 

Have lunch and see Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, or the Baby Taj, a unique marble fort of Agra with beautiful work on it. visit colorful local markets of Agra and purchase handicraft made of marble, leather, and local sweets like Agra Petha. Further in the afternoon proceed to Jaipur and see Fatehpur Sikri the deserted Mughal capital, where you will have the opportunity of sightseeing Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal and the Palace of Jodha Bai.

Day 3 : Arrival in Jaipur

Wake up and then take a drive to Jaipur from Agra. You can begin your sightseeing visit after having breakfast by visiting the Amber Fort. One can use a jeep, or walk up the hill, to see the large courtyards of the fort, Sheesh Mahal, and Diwan-i-Khas. The fort has a wide view of the Maota Lake and the hills that surround it. Visit Jal Mahal, a beautiful palace in the lake of Man Sagar which is a very good place to get some beautiful shots. Then get into your hotel and have some free time relaxing or go to the colorful bazaars of Jaipur and buy handicrafts, block-printed textiles and traditional jewels. At night, cultural evening is the experience to have at Chokhi Dhani which is a village theme resort with folk shows, puppetry and Rajasthani traditional foods. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 4 : Explore Jaipur and departure

Spend your final day in the remaining Jaipur gems. Start by visiting the City Palace and pay a visit to the royal family which contains a collection of royal artifacts, costumes, and weaponry. Close by, Jantar Mantar, which is also a UNESCO-recognized astronomical observatory, has gigantic gadgets constructed to observe the heavenly events several centuries ago. Head on to Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with its pink-colored facade and 953 ornamented windows that provided the royal ladies a view of the city without them noticing their presence. Where time permits, either Nahargarh Fort or Jaigarh Fort to see the panoramic views of the city and more offbeat experience of the royal heritage of Jaipur. Finish off your visit with a walk through Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar, where you can get such souvenirs as gemstones, blue pottery and Rajasthani mojris. Ready at lunch, and then be off.
