Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi

Reach Delhi and take a room in a hotel. Take some rest and begin your sightseeing trip with the visit to India Gate which is a war memorial of Indian soldiers. Go to Rajpath to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House, some of the most glaring landmarks of the capital.

Then visit the Tomb of Humayun, an exquisite monument of the Mughal period which gave birth to the Taj Mahal. Next to Qutub Minar, the highest brick minaret on the planet, and enjoy the adjacent archeological complex. During the night, go to Connaught Place or Delhi Haat to shop and have dinner in one of the local restaurants. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2 : Explore Delhi

Today, it is devoted to Old Delhi, which is a busy neighborhood of the city full of history and allure. Begin with the visit to Raj Ghat, a monument of Mahatma Gandhi and the next destination is the grand Red Fort which was the seat of the Mughal power in the past and was also a UNESCO world heritage site.

See the largest mosques in India, Jama Masjid and go up the minar to view the panorama. Ride a rickshaw in Chandni Chowk which is known to be a spice market, jewelry streets and mouthwatering street food. In the afternoon, visit Lotus Temple which consists of a beautiful white lotus shaped structure or visit Akshardham Temple to have a relaxing cultural experience and water show in the evening. Day 3 : Arrive in Agra

Rise and breakfast after which drive out to Agra via Yamuna Expressway (approximately 3-4 hrs). Arrive and check in your hotel, take a shower. The legendary Taj Mahal is where you will be staying initially and this is a timeless testament of love and one of the most envied monuments in this world.

Walk around in its well-tended gardens and hear about the marvelous artisanship that was involved in the creation of this marvel. In the afternoon, visit another UNESCO site Agra Fort, which consists of great halls and Mughal architecture. You can still later go to Mehtab Bagh which is a beautiful garden on the other side of Yamuna River which provides a stunning view of the sunset of the Taj Mahal. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 4 : Visit Jaipur

Breakfast and then check out and head to Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of the emperor Akbar. Visit some architectural wonders like Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal and the Tomb of Salim Chishti all of which have interesting histories in the history of Mughal.

Go on to Jaipur, which is also referred to as the Pink City. On arrival, get into your hotel and calm down. Visit Bapu Bazaar or Johari Bazaar, a textile and jewelry and handicraft hub in the evening. To add a cultural twist to your holiday, you should take dinner at Chokhi Dhani which is a traditional village resort in Rajasthan that has folk dance, music and traditional cuisine. Day 5 : Explore Jaipur

Begin your day at Amber Fort which is among the most beautiful forts in India. Ride a jeep or an elephant up to the top and see Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Ganesh Pol and the expansive courtyards.

Photographs must then be made by visiting Jal Mahal, the Water Palace, which is then followed by visiting City Palace where the royal family of Jaipur used to live but today the place is filled with museums hosting royal costumes, armaments, and items.Next, proceed to Jantar Mantar that is a UNESCO World Heritage and an astronomical observatory. Day 6 : Departure

On the last day, relax and have a nice breakfast and venture into the unknown of Jaipur. You can visit Albert Hall Museum, representing the Indo-Saracenic architecture and a great collection of various artifacts or visit Birla Mandir, a wonderful temple built using marble, in honor of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.

In case you want something different, make a short excursion to block-printing or pottery homes and observe the rich craft heritage of Jaipur. Most of the time those who wish to have a little adventure should journey in a hot- air balloon and see the magnificent sites of its forts and palaces.

Then, later on, leave your hotel and head to Jaipur Airport or drive back to Delhi in order to continue your trip, but leaving the golden memories of the Golden Triangle of India.
