This 11 days long Manali peak expedition tour takes you through breathtaking views of hill station with peak climbing opportunities in Manali mountain ranges. In this expedition you will summit two or three peaks out of which some are easy and some are moderate tough. In this 10 day expedition, you will be rewarded with the splendid view of snow clad mountain ranges and the beauty of unexploited nature. These mountains are located in the Bara Banghal Range are suitable for a first mountaineering experience. From the peaks you will have views of the Kullu and Lahaul Valley with Raigarh Glacier.

Day 1 : Delhi – Manali

eparture from New Delhi with best bus rental services in India or car hire in Delhi.

Day 2 : Manali

Upon arrival, check in hotel and enjoy the sightseeing tour of Manali with top attractions as Hidimba Temple, Paragliding and skiing point, vasishta baths and the Great Himalayan National park.

Day 3 : Manali - Bakkar Thach

On 3rd day of trip visit Dhundi, where you will take a walk through the forest of Pine, Mapple, Walnut, Silver fir and Oak. West of Dhundi the highest mountain of the Dhauladhar (Hanuman Tibba 5950 m), on the east Deo Tibba 6001m, and Indra Asan 6100 m can be seen if the sky is clear. Bakkar Thach is a high altitude shepherd fields. Overnight rest in tents.

Day 4 : Bakkar Thach - Beas Kund (Base Camp)

Go for a short climb up to the ridge and then to the plateau of Beas Kund. Camping in Beas Kund depends on good weather. Packed lunch will be served as the day will be dedicated to a full day excursion in Beas Kund plateau. Overnight rest in tents.

Day 5 : Beas Kund - (Camp1)

Today trek from Beas Kund to Camp, which takes about 6-7 hours. It is a steep uphill walk and is rewarded by the scenic views. Overnight in tents.

Day 6 : Camp1 - Col (Camp2)

You will climb to Camp 2 from Camp 1, which will take approx 5-6 hours. This climb requires technical skills along with all the climbing gears. It takes 30 minutes walk to reach the Shetidhar peak and about 3-4hrs to reach Manali Peak from Col Camp2. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 7 : Summit Attempt – Manali Peak 5640m/18900 ft

Begin your day with attempting summit and climb the fix rope today. You will feel extremely rewarded by the breathtaking view of Dhauladhar and Pirpanjal range with Indrasan peak (6160mts) and Deotibba Peak (6001mts). After the summit, you will get back to Camp1. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 8 : Camp1 - Bakkar Thach

Today post breakfast trek to Bakkar Thach. Overnight stay in the tent.

Day 9 : Bakkar Thach –Manali

Post breakfast head towards the Solang Nala via Dundi. Return to Manali. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 10 : Manali

On day 11th of trip go for half day for the local sightseeing at Manali. Afterwards return back to Delhi.
