Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi

Fly morning between Bangalore and Delhi and this will take about 2.5 to 3 hours. Upon arrival you will have to check into your hotel and take a shower before you begin sightseeing tour. Start with India Gate which is the most known war memorial and make a tour by driving through Rajpath visiting the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President House) and the Parliament house. Next visit Humayun tomb that is a beautiful Mughal garden tomb and the forerunner of Taj Mahal. Visit Qutub Minar the tallest brick minaret in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Go ahead and take a stroll around the Connaught Place or Dilli Haat where you can not only do some shopping and some handcrafted goods, but also sample some local cuisines.

Day 2 : Cultural Exploration of Delhi

Spend the second day in colourful lanes of Old Delhi. One must start with Raj Ghat the serene monument of Mahatma Gandhi, then proceed to the majestic Red Fort, a representative of the Mughal might and architecture. Next, visit Jama Masjid, which is one of the largest mosques of India and ride a rickshaw in the small streets of Chandni Chowk, enjoying the atmosphere of the old world. Providing that there is enough time, you can visit Lotus Temple which is serene and which has white-petal architecture or Akshardham Temple which is an architectural marvel with breathtaking exhibits and an eye-catching light-sound spectacular evening show. You go back to your hotel and have an overnight stay in Delhi, and the next day you are going to Agra.

Day 3 : Explore Agra

Post breakfast, transfer to Agra through Yamuna Expressway (approximately 3-4hrs). On arrival, be welcomed into your hotel and start your adventure on Agra with the gorgeous Taj Mahal. Gasp at its white marble exterior, fine carvings, and faultlessly symmetrical gardens; as you read of the love tale of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. 

In afternoon Visit Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which was the capital of Mughal rule. and now neglect not Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Aam and Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan is said to have passed away the rest of the days. Later in the day, visit some local markets and buy marble inlay, leather products and handicrafts.

Day 4 : Explore Fatehpur Sikri and arrive in Jaipur

Have Breakfast and then leave Agra and head towards Jaipur (around 5 hours) with a brief halt at Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital of the Mughals constructed by Emperor Akbar. You can visit the towering Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal and the marble tomb of Salim Chishti and then move on your way.

Reach Jaipur in the evening and in the hotel. Go on a leisurely evening stroll through Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar to buy the popular Jaipur textiles, jewelry and handicraft. To have dinner, visit a rooftop restaurant that has a view of the Hawa Mahal that has been beautifully lit up and again go back to your hotel to have an overnight stay.

Day 5 : Jaipur Sightseeing

This is a day long to explore the royal heritage of Jaipur. Start with Amber Fort that stands on a hill and provides the beautiful views of Maota lake. Go on a jeep (or an elephant ride to have a traditional experience) to the fort and have a look around its courtyards, Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) and elaborate gateways.

You may also have a photo of Jal Mahal which is the Water Palace on your way back. Then sightsee City Palace including museums and royal possessions and Jantar Mantar the astronomical observatory and World Heritage site. Spend your day in Nahargarh Fort or Jaigarh Fort to have a panoramic view of Jaipur. On the evenings you also have the option of taking a cultural evening at Chokhi Dhani which is a traditional village resort where folk dances are performed, camel rides are available and a traditional Rajasthani thali dinner is served. Day 6 : Departure

Following breakfast, take some time to visit any attraction site you might have not seen, e.g. Albert Hall Museum or the gorgeous temple of Birla Mandir. Then start driving to Delhi (which takes about 5-6 hours). You may do some last minute shopping in Delhi before catching your flight back to Bangalore depending on the time that you have available in Delhi before departure and then you are at the end of your Golden Triangle trip.
